Absolute Power is a political drama starring Clint Eastwood. The movie started with a scandal in which someone the President is extremely affectionate about gets killed. This happened during a robbery and the robber is accused of the murder and has to go into hiding. The thing is, he knows who the assassin was. Oddly it was the President’s Secret Service agents. In a plea for his freedom the thief gives the cops the information. What he doesn’t know is that the cops double crossed him and are planning on trying to arrest him yet again. What the cops don’t know is that he anticipated this and kept a lieutenant detective’s uniform in his briefcase. Once he spots the cops in uniform he pretends to use the restroom and comes out a different man. The cops start digging and discover that the thief was not lying. So they go to the press and release the evidence implicating the President and his agents. Following the release of the documents the President gets impeached and the secret service agents get arrested. 

    This is perhaps the best Star Wars movie of all time. In this movie Anakin starts to feel the temptations of the Dark Side. He starts to try dark side techniques and quickly gets drawn into its power. Wanting to know more he consults the Jedi High Council who tell him to not mess with things he does not understand. Feeling angered and frustrated he goes to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who through the years has been a sort of guiding force and fatherly hand on his shoulder helping him where the Jedi Council won’t. He asks about the dark side and Palpatine being the Sith Lord shares some basic secrets. He understands them and wants more, so he goes to Palpatine and figures out that Palpatine is actually the Sith Lord everyone has been looking for. Realizing this he tells the council and they lead a siege on Palpatine’s office without considering the amount of power that he has. Palpatine being far more powerful than the five Jedi masters who stormed his office quickly engages and kills all five, but not without receiving severe scars and burns on his face. Realizing the time has come. He tricks Anakin into joining him on the dark side. Palpatine then dubbs anakin Darth Vader. After that he initiates order 66, an order that activated a mind control chip embedded inside the heads of each and every clone trooper. What order 66 said was that every trooper was to shoot there jedi generals immediately. This was a smart move on Palpatine’s part because it effectively wiped out the Jedi order. On top of that he sent anakin and the 501st regiment to raid the Jedi temple and wipe out every remaining jedi. After that anakin was sent to mustafar a volcanic planet where the leaders of the seperatist alliance were hiding. His orders: very simple, kill everyone. THen Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin’s Jedi master, tracks his former apprentice to Mustafar, where they engage in an epic duel. The movie ends with Anakin being beaten and burned alive by the lava. 

      This is the film that started it all. This is the film that Tom Cruise is famous for. This is Mission:Impossible. This is a stunning action thriller in which Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt) is a super spy working for the IMF (impossible missions force). He and his team are sent on a mission to track down a former agent and now villain. At an action Hunt gets sight of him and chases him down. During that time Hunt gets framed for murdering the villain and now is on the run with no resources to assist him. One day Hunt is at a train station and sees the villain. He follows him onto a train where he eventually kills him. In the end Hunt’s name is cleared and he gets voted to be the new team leader of the IMF. This is an action classic and if you have not watched it GO AND WATCH IT RIGHT THIS INSTANT. GOT IT? GOOD. 

Terminator Salvation is the 4th movie in the series, and is also the first to earn a pg-13 rating. In this movie the Story revolves around John Connor( Christian Bale ) and the messages he receives from recordings that his mom left him. In the recordings his mom tells him that there are terminators who look like humans. She also tells him to send a man named Kyle Reese back to the past. While looking for Kyle, John discovers a new type of terminator, the T-800, or partially human terminator. The leaders of the resistance want John to shoot the T-800, but he decides to make a deal with it. The T-800’s name is Marcus Wright. Marcus gets back into the automated terminator command base, SKYNET CENTRAL. Getting in he uses is Terminator ID to disable the defenses and allow Connor to come in. What he does not realize is that this was all a trap and by signing in he revealed the location of Resistance Central. Using the newfound info SKYNET  launches a missile to go and destroy the resistance HQ. in the meantime John Connor sneaks in with his armed forces and sieges SKYNET’s tower, all while freeing the human prisoners and sending Kyle Reese back to the past. During the siege John got stabbed and had to be airlifted back to the base. Once there he undergoes surgery and is stable but dying. Marcus sees this as a chance at redemption for his crimes and gives his heart to save John. This was a good movie but it lacked a solid storyline.

Dr. No a relatively simple movie. It is also the first in the James Bond saga. The movie starts with an Mi6 agent playing cards in jamaica. The waiter comes to him and tells him that there is a phone call for him. The agent does not see anything suspicious because he was expecting this call. Going to the phone he picks it up but there was no one on the other end of the line. Turning around he sees three thugs walking toward him each of the armed. He asks “Can I help you?” they say nothing and then proceed to kill him. The scene then switches to a lady at her house who we later find out is also an Mi6 agent. She goes in and sets her keys down before going to her high tech telegram station. She was stationed in Jamaica as part of a covert field operation’s radio manager. Going to the station she radio’s in and lets them know that all of the members are doing what they are supposed to. But in the middle of the message, she goes radio silent and the operators get worried. The reason she went silent is that the three thugs snuck up on her and shot her. M, the head of Mi6 hears of the news, and then sends his best man 007( James Bond ) to investigate. But, before every mission, he has to report to his Quartermaster or his gadget creator. Now in jamaica, bond starts do dig around with some sources and witnesses and discover that the gun used to shoot both the agents was registered to a man called Dr. No., who owns a private island in the middle of the sea. 007 charters a boat to take him out there. Now on the island bond sneaks in but is quickly caught by the guards and taken to see Dr. No himself. During the meeting with Dr. No 007 is offered a job in the evil organization that Dr. No works for. Bond decides to sleep over it and in the morning decides to turn down the offer. When Bond goes to see Dr. No to tell him his decision he finds Dr. No preparing to launch a radio wave to make NASA’s rocket sink. Realizing that the job offer was to distract him from the real evil scheme, he goes and starts to fight Dr. No’s henchmen. Quickly overwhelming them he gets to the antagonist himself, Dr. No. From then on Dr. No gets pummeled smashed punched and eventually whacked by 007. In my opinion, this is one of the best James Bond films of all time.

Is an amazing action movie starring Leonardo Di Caprio in which the main character is Dom Cobb ( Leonardo di Caprio) who plays the role of a bounty-hunting extractor. This movie takes place in the future when Extraction is real. Extraction according to the movie is when you enter a dream and you bring the subject into the dream and coerce information out of them. In this movie, Cobb is an extraction bounty hunter who is hired for a job. This job is not like others. In this job, Cobb has been hired to plant an idea in the subjects mind instead of getting information out. The art of planting an idea in someone’s head is called inception. Cobb’s teammates keep telling him that it is impossible, that trying to perform inception will get him lost in Limbo. Limbo according to the movie is unconstructed dream space, or in other words, letting your subconscious roam free. Cobb tells his teammates that it is not impossible, that he has done it before. He also tells them that you just have to create enough levels of dreams within dreams. So his teammates go along with it. His teammates are Arthur, Yusuf, Eames, and Ariadne. So they start planning, Ariadne plays the role of the architect, the person who builds the dreams with attention to every bit of detail. Arthur is the dreamer, the one who populates the dream worlds, Eames is the psychologist, the one who predicts how the subject will react. And Yusuf is the compound maker, the one who makes the chemical needed for extraction/ and inception. 

  When they are ready they plan to get the subject for inception onto a plane. On the plane, they get to cruising altitude before drugging the subject into a ten-hour long sleep and connecting themselves into the compound inducer. In the dream, they meet the subject and get him into the taxi and start the process of inception. It is quite complicated but in basicness, they trick the subject into thinking that the inception that was wanted was his idea. In the end, Cobb comes out and gets back home. Then he sees his children and he gets very happy. Suddenly a doubt creeps into his mind that he is dreaming. To check he pulls out his totem which for him is a small top. Giving it a spin he watches it but then decides it does not matter and lets it spin while he goes and meets his children again. The camera then closes in on the top and stays there while the top starts to wobble. Just as it looks as though it is about to fall the camera cuts to black and the credits start rolling.

              Die Hard is an incredible movie series that I am very passionate about. I am very passionate about the series because of the intense action and incredible storyline. In the series, there are five movies as follows

Die Hard

 Die Hard is an incredible movie starring Bruce Willis as a new york cop-out to see his wife over Christmas weekend. His wife is played by Bonnie Bedilia. After he arrives he is in the restroom when Dozens of ruthless german terrorists take over the building. Hearing the gunshots he grabs his gun and races out and into the stairwell. Going up to the 34th floor he encounters a terrorist. There he gets into a fistfight and quickly overwhelms his attacker. Realizing his pistol is out of ammo he takes the fallen terrorist weapons. On the 34th floor, he sees the executive offices. He decides to check them out and discovers Mr. Takagi, the president of the corporation, being held at gunpoint to open the safe. Getting closer he hears the german leader Hans Gruber talking. Hans is demanding that Takagi open the safe. When Takagi refuses a single gunshot rang out followed by the thud of Takagi’s body. John Mclane ( Bruce Willis) starts to run and in his hurry knocks over a model of the bridge. The crash alerts the terrorists to his position and is chased out.

  Later he got into a fistfight with Hans and keeps fighting for quite some time. During that time he had managed to call the police and the FBI who were then working on a siege strategy. He keeps fighting Hans until Hans falls and Mclane quickly cuts Hans’s plan short and invites the police in to help him Whack the terrorists.
