Terminator Salvation is the 4th movie in the series, and is also the first to earn a pg-13 rating. In this movie the Story revolves around John Connor( Christian Bale ) and the messages he receives from recordings that his mom left him. In the recordings his mom tells him that there are terminators who look like humans. She also tells him to send a man named Kyle Reese back to the past. While looking for Kyle, John discovers a new type of terminator, the T-800, or partially human terminator. The leaders of the resistance want John to shoot the T-800, but he decides to make a deal with it. The T-800’s name is Marcus Wright. Marcus gets back into the automated terminator command base, SKYNET CENTRAL. Getting in he uses is Terminator ID to disable the defenses and allow Connor to come in. What he does not realize is that this was all a trap and by signing in he revealed the location of Resistance Central. Using the newfound info SKYNET launches a missile to go and destroy the resistance HQ. in the meantime John Connor sneaks in with his armed forces and sieges SKYNET’s tower, all while freeing the human prisoners and sending Kyle Reese back to the past. During the siege John got stabbed and had to be airlifted back to the base. Once there he undergoes surgery and is stable but dying. Marcus sees this as a chance at redemption for his crimes and gives his heart to save John. This was a good movie but it lacked a solid storyline.
