INCEPTION

Is an amazing action movie starring Leonardo Di Caprio in which the main character is Dom Cobb ( Leonardo di Caprio) who plays the role of a bounty-hunting extractor. This movie takes place in the future when Extraction is real. Extraction according to the movie is when you enter a dream and you bring the subject into the dream and coerce information out of them. In this movie, Cobb is an extraction bounty hunter who is hired for a job. This job is not like others. In this job, Cobb has been hired to plant an idea in the subjects mind instead of getting information out. The art of planting an idea in someone’s head is called inception. Cobb’s teammates keep telling him that it is impossible, that trying to perform inception will get him lost in Limbo. Limbo according to the movie is unconstructed dream space, or in other words, letting your subconscious roam free. Cobb tells his teammates that it is not impossible, that he has done it before. He also tells them that you just have to create enough levels of dreams within dreams. So his teammates go along with it. His teammates are Arthur, Yusuf, Eames, and Ariadne. So they start planning, Ariadne plays the role of the architect, the person who builds the dreams with attention to every bit of detail. Arthur is the dreamer, the one who populates the dream worlds, Eames is the psychologist, the one who predicts how the subject will react. And Yusuf is the compound maker, the one who makes the chemical needed for extraction/ and inception. 

  When they are ready they plan to get the subject for inception onto a plane. On the plane, they get to cruising altitude before drugging the subject into a ten-hour long sleep and connecting themselves into the compound inducer. In the dream, they meet the subject and get him into the taxi and start the process of inception. It is quite complicated but in basicness, they trick the subject into thinking that the inception that was wanted was his idea. In the end, Cobb comes out and gets back home. Then he sees his children and he gets very happy. Suddenly a doubt creeps into his mind that he is dreaming. To check he pulls out his totem which for him is a small top. Giving it a spin he watches it but then decides it does not matter and lets it spin while he goes and meets his children again. The camera then closes in on the top and stays there while the top starts to wobble. Just as it looks as though it is about to fall the camera cuts to black and the credits start rolling.
